Google Launched a Haunted House Experience with Its Voice Assistant

Technology undoubtedly plays a part in creating some of the truly terrifying frights at any haunted house experience but Google is launching a next-gen Halloween attraction in Tokyo that heavily relies on its voice assistant.

To access the house, visitors will need to consult Google's voice assistant via the Android or iOS app and speak the phrase "Obakeyashiki ni Tsuretette" as best they can. If Google Assistant recognizes one's attempt as valid, it will connect users to another "ghost assistant" with details on accessing the house.

The haunted house experience from Google is being offered from August 25th to September 2nd, with the design of the haunted house changing frequently to offer new experiences to different visitors. Fortunately for those who are curious about the experience but wary of being scared, what Google has created has been described as the "world’s cutest haunted house."
