CLIF Bar & Company recently opened a new green bakery location to produce its nutritious bar products in Twin Falls, Idaho that is a sustainable food facility that mirrors the eco decisions made pertaining to food in the building's architecture. In other words, the bakery is as sustainably built as the snack bars are, using recycled and natural materials.
The bakery is built with natural stone and recycled wood materials with a strong emphasis on a connection to nature, as seen with the 200 windows and skylights located throughout the space. The facility functions as an innovation lab for workers to test product ideas with a biophillic-focus that blends natural surroundings with a work environment. Workers can visit nearby trails and enjoy outdoor patios to recharge their creativity.
