These Geometric Drawings are Designed with a Sharpie Marker

Artist Matt W. Moore has designed a series of geometric drawings created using a Sharpie marker. He is known as a talented robotic artist that has the ability to draw with precision and fine detail that turns out perfect in every way. He also collaborated with engineer Aaron Panone to create this work titled ‘Numerically Controlled Series’.

The use of fine tip markers create a hypnotizing effect within the drawings along with geometric shapes joined together. He uses a 3-axis CNC machine that holds a Sharpie marker with precision to draw each figure. The striking designs lure the eye seeing only black on white to create mesmerizing effects. These geometric drawings are also very symmetrical, making each figure lined up with opposite ends throughout the entire drawing series.
