Created by Paris-based designer Ora Ito, the Flying Nest concept offers up nomadic accommodations for adventures around the globe. Designed for AccorHotels, the concept converts old shipping containers into mobile and sustainable guest living spaces. The mobile nature of the Fly Nest concept allows the accommodations to be easily transported to a variety of locations, where they can be reassembled. The driving idea behind the concept was to create traveling hotel rooms that could be used for a wide variety of events, from business meetings to music festivals.
Arranged in small islands of six modules, the Flying Nest concept features connecting terraces to encourage interaction between guests. The individual modules are 12m2 and feature a living area, sleeping area, and a private bedroom.
