The Flex Tablet Bends but Doesn't Break

The René Lee's Flex Tablet is easily one of the most unique concept tablets you will ever come across. The tablet is designed to bend at any angle, instantly converting into a laptop or multiscreen display at a moment's notice.
The Flex Tablet is able to be so flexible thanks in part to its "porous biopolymer spine" that bends but doesn't break. In tablet mode, the Flex has a 14-inch touchscreen and in laptop mode, the screen loses its touchscreen functions yet gains a touchscreen keyboard and increases its width to 18 inches. While I definitely don't think that we have the technology to make the Flex Tablet anytime soon, it is nice to see a designer imagining a world where sitting on your tablet or folding it isn't an automatic death sentence.
