Samsung introduces the new Rollable Flex, which is a folding screen that was presented during SID Design Week this year in Los Angeles. It is a new prototype device that uses an O-shaped axis that is able to roll up the display as it measures 49mm.
The screen can also unfurl itself into a screen that measures 254.4mm with an FHD+ resolution, which is about 1,200 by 1,920 pixels. This breaches into a new realm of technology devices as it is traditional to fold them closed. The high-tech scroll pushes boundaries and enters a new space of display advancements that are to be explored to possibly make large laptops and monitors more transportable in the future.
