In order to get the word out about its newest flavored cookies, Oreo launched the 'Oreo Flavour Mobile' in the UK.
The UK-wide tour of the truck in the autumn will involve a trip across the country, making stops at seven major cities to give people the chance to sample the cookie company's newest mint and limited-edition strawberry cheesecake flavor. Samples of treats like Oreo tarts, cookie balls and mousse cakes made with the cookies are handed to consumers through kaleidoscopic cutouts in the truck's side with a "recipe randomiser" and interactive buttons.
Food trucks have become popular ways for brands to entice consumers to try a new product before they commit to buying a product in full. For the launch of the Flavour Mobile, reality TV star and Oreo cookie fan Joey Essex was given the chance to try out the interactive cookie-dispensing truck first.
