The Gap's New Fitting Room App Saves Consumers Time

As most consumers know, trying on clothing in fitting rooms can be a huge hassle, especially when the lines are long — however with the Gap's fitting room app, the whole process is much less bothersome.
Reportedly, the company has been testing the fitting room app since January, which allows consumers to try on clothing virtually with an avatar. As each avatar is based around the consumer's measurements, they're able to show how different items of clothing will fit, so that consumers can see which pieces look the most flattering.
In addition to saving time on in-store purchases, the Gap's fitting room app would enable online shoppers to be more informed, so that they don't end up with clothing in the wrong size.
