In order to share the spirit of the 'Bumba-Meu-Boi' Brazilian folk theatrical tradition, a festival billboard was created by hand using sequins. More than 40,000 colored sequins and tube beads were used in the making of this intricate outdoor billboard by the Quadrante Advertising agency in São Luís, Brazil.
Bumba-Meu-Boi' involves the tale of the 'Boi,' a bull character who goes through death and resurrection and the vibrancy of life is captured with the use of bold colors in this sequinned and beaded billboard design.
