Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea Made a Record-Breaking Interactive Billboard

Lipton-owned tea brand Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea created a Guinness World Record for the "Largest Environmentally Interactive Billboard," with Megh Santoor. This 150-foot installation outside of Vijayawada Railway Station in Andhra Pradesh, India was set up for monsoon season, and rainfall activates the strings on the billboard to create a tune. Specifically, the interactive billboard references Raag Megh Malhar, a classical Indian form of music traditionally associated with the monsoon season.

After securing its record-breaking win in early September, the brand created a spot in celebration of the Largest Environmentally Interactive Billboard. October 16th, 2023 will be the last day the Megh Santoor will be displayed at its current location, coinciding with the end of the monsoon season.
