The Opus Office Towers will be the latest Dubai architecture innovation. Designed by architectural mastermind Zaha Hadid, the design is part of a much larger, grand-scale urban project for Dubai. The building is comprised of two separate structures: columns that are connected by a low-level podium base. The intention is for the building to resemble a “single cube eroded by a free-form void, which appears to ‘hover’ about ground-level.”
The building achieves the monolithic cube look in the daytime; however, at night, the glass façade offers a reflected, pixelated effect. The nighttime lights turn this already impressive structure into an eye-catching, luminous erection. Hadid has outdone herself with this spectacular, architectural work of art. The dazzling design of the Opus Towers is visible from great distances.
