Dual-Motor Performance SUVs

BMW Introduces the 612-HP iX3 M60 xDrive

BMW is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with dual-motor performance SUVs, introducing the iX3 M60 xDrive with two electric motors generating 612 horsepower. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, while its Heart of Joy computer processes driving information ten times faster than previous systems. This technology coordinates steering, braking, and power delivery to provide more precise handling and responsive performance.

The SUV also features a 108.7 kWh battery, offering a provisional driving range of up to 754 kilometres. Its 400 kW charging capability can add up to 340 kilometres of range in ten minutes under suitable conditions.

With orders opening in January 2027, the model strengthens BMW's premium electric portfolio. Its combination of acceleration, charging speed, and driving technology could attract customers seeking sporty performance alongside everyday practicality.
