BYD’s Denza N8L EV expands its luxury SUV line with a battery-electric option featuring a 130.15-kWh Blade Battery 2.0. BYD rates the model for up to 960 kilometers (596 miles) of CLTC range. The Premium trim starts at 299,800 yuan, or about $45,000, while the Flagship costs 329,800 yuan, or about $49,000.
Both versions use an 800-volt architecture and Flash Charging technology, which BYD says can charge the battery from 10% to 70% in 5 minutes and to 97% in 9 minutes. The 5,200-millimeter SUV has a 3,075-millimeter wheelbase, six-seat layout, six screens, augmented-reality head-up display, Nappa leather, wood veneer and Devialet audio.
Denza’s Smart Travel Ecosystem and AI assistant connect the vehicle with smart-home devices. The model reflects a trend of luxury EVs combining long range, rapid charging and connected cabins. For BYD, adding a battery-electric N8L alongside the plug-in hybrid broadens customer choice and strengthens Denza’s premium positioning.
