Checking in for a flight can be a nightmare, especially when it comes to going through security, but the Delta Innovation Lanes hopes to change all of that. instead of pointing fingers every time something goes wrong -- like when 1,000 American Airlines customers missed their flights earlier this year due to long TSA checkpoint waits -- this airline aims to make a difference.
Through the Delta Innovation Lanes, people will be able to take advantage of a "parallel process." This means that they don't have to follow their bags and shoes as they go through the conveyor belt. Instead, as soon as they're ready they can bypass any slower individuals and go straight through to the body scan. This could alleviate the backup immediately.
