This Salsa Line's Packaging Highlights Its Use of the Rare Datil Pepper

Miller Creative designed these unique salsa labels for Del Viejo Salsa to highlight the brand's use of rare datil pepper. The packaging aims to display the use of this exotic pepper while showcasing the salsa itself in a clear glass jar.

The datil pepper boasts a bold flavor and features a yellow color. With this in mind, Miller Creative added aspects of bright yellow into the packaging. The most notable piece of yellow labeling is featured on the jar's black lid. A large circular stamp that is bright yellow with black writing aims to grab the eye of consumers while paying tribute to the rare pepper.

The jars are simply decorated with a single wrap-around label that is completely white and contains a black image of the brand's crest. The crest is a "star-shaped design with a scalloped edge contains an abundance of yellow peppers on the vine."
