As part of the #Iscreamforkraken campaign, Kraken Rum is sending an all-black 'Kraken I Scream' truck for a tour across the UK over the summer to give out dark ice cream treats for adults.
While ice cream trucks and the sweet songs they play often conjure up fond memories of childhood, this campaign puts a twisted grown-up spin on ice cream trucks. Kraken Rum will be giving out alcoholic inky black ice cream and blasting distorted versions of classic heavy metal songs as it makes its tour across the UK from Battersea Park in June to Bloodstock in Derby in early August.
In December, Kraken Rum hosted a similar seasonal event for Christmas with an all-black evergreen tree shop.
