Curtain-Mimicking Lights

This Curtain-Inspired Light is Illuminated from Both the Top and Bottom

Arik Levy has designed a curtain-inspired light that is called VIBIA that illuminates any room in a modern way. When the light is off, it remains a functional piece of decor that can suit a home, an event or an office space. The elegant versatility of the light is that it can be hung overhead as a chandelier, illuminate kitchen counters or even be a beautiful addition to bedroom lighting.

The lampshade is a piece of fabric paneling draped across a horizontal LED light bulb-beam. This creates the image of a curtain. The bottom of the curtain shade is another horizontal light bulb-beam to express light from both ends of the lamp.

The curtain-inspired light is available with three different curtain shade lengths. Multiple lights can be combined to create an interesting piece of furniture.
