Dutch lighting design firm Brand Van Egmond has designed the Blossom Chandelier to reflect the natural growth of plants. The light is crafted carefully from corosilicate glass materials and was crafted by the founder of the firm, William Brand. It boasts a sculptural form which represents growth starting from its roots: the seed.
This branches from the metal structure and gives shape to the light with circular glass diffusers representing petals or leaves. It was unveiled at the lighting fair Euroluce during Milan Design Week. and made from mouth-blown borosilicate glass. It is available in three variations as standard: a round version with compact forms, a vertical version with slender glass chain, and a sculptural iteration with branches going outwards.
