Metal-Glass Intuitive Chandeliers

Brand Van Egmond Designs the Salsa Chandelier

Dutch lighting design firm Brand Van Egmond has created the Salsa Chandelier with the focus of creating the poetry of motion in the light form. The Salsa chandelier is crafted from metal for the framing and then mouth-blown borosilicate glass. The wide selection of finishes is paired with custom dimension options as well.

A lot of the design was rooted in following creative intuition. William Brand explains the work behind the design: "When I create, emotion leads the way. It's like a line in Salsa, shifting, sometimes rising, sometimes falling. Amidst the chaos, where do beauty and surprise meet? That's the point I work towards, where the composition of lines comes together to form something unexpected and captivating."
