Sculptural Glass Chandeliers

The Tamar Grande chandelier by Sophia Han for Shakuff reinterprets classic lighting through a large-scale suspended fixture made from hand-blown glass elements and a bespoke metal framework. The design consists of multiple elongated glass components that vary in size and curvature, each blown individually to achieve subtle differences in shape and translucency. These glass pieces are arranged along a horizontal metal armature, creating a composition that balances visual rhythm with structural clarity while casting layered illumination in interior spaces.

The metal framework is finished in a muted tone chosen to complement the warm glass surfaces without drawing attention away from the organically shaped elements. Integrated LED sources are positioned to highlight the glass forms and enhance their inherent diffusion qualities, producing a softly ambient light suitable for dining rooms, lobbies, or large living areas. Tamar Grande’s scale and articulation of glass and metal position it as a bespoke lighting solution that emphasises craft technique and material expression within contemporary interior design.
