Italian company Contardi Lighting works in collaboration with designer Adam Tihany to create the new Air Light, which answers the idea of what 'green lighting' is meant to be. It explores designs in alignment with ecological themes as well. This results in a suspension lamp that is both decorative and functional.
The most notable element of the lamp is that it is 100% recyclable with a dual lampshade structure. The Air Light evokes a warm light to create a calming ambiance by casting light and shadow through its engraved laser cuts. The entire process of the Air Light is sustainable from production all the way to its packaging. The body of the light is constructed from Green cast and can be recycled or even tossed in a landfill.
