'Copper Cross Hybrid' is a new product from Copper Cross Spirits that introduces a blend of bourbon and rye.
In terms of taste, the whiskey hybrid boasts sweet notes of vanilla, lavender, anise, chocolate and honey, which are balanced out by oak and black pepper. As such, it is described as having "a smooth finish with oak, tannins, warm toffee and caramel followed by pepper from the rye."
Copper Cross Spirits suggests that the Copper Cross Hybrid can be used as the base for a variety of classic cocktails, including the Manhattan, an Old Fashioned or even what it calls a 'Copper Cross Collins.'
