These clam chowder fries are an unusual way of eating french fries and are perfect for people in the North East who are sick and tired of poutine. Created by the blog Kirbie's Cravings, the starchy seafood recipe also combines two popular sides for when you just can't choose.
This recipe involves making fries from scratch using large Russet potatoes and your own deep fryer, plus a can of thick-style clam chowder. An alternative method could be getting an order of french fries and pouring the can of soup on top (after it's been prepared of course). Otherwise, you could also try ordering the soup from your preferred restaurant and adding it to the fries later.
