The PastryArchy Carmallow Imperial Stout is a new libation from the brewery that's arriving just in time for spring and Easter with a flavor that's sure to satisfy those with a penchant for full-bodied brews.
The beer is an imperial stout that has been created in collaboration with Wockenfloss Candies to help mimic the flavor of the brand's iconic Carmallow candy. The libation is reported to have notes of toffee and honey, and was achieved with one hundred pounds each of marshmallows and caramel to achieve the dessert-like flavor profile.
Candy Manufacturing Manager at Wockenfuss Greg Butler spoke on the collaboration for the PastryArchy Carmallow Imperial Stout saying, "Our team is really excited about this partnership. There are a lot of similarities between candy-making and brewing, and we learned that through this process. It’ll be fun to taste the final result.”
