This Festive Stout Bears a Distinct Peanut Butter Cookie Character

One of the most highly anticipated events of the festive season for beer lovers is the release of seasonal special brews by the Cleveland, Ohio-based Great Lakes Brewing Company, and the 2024 holiday season certainly isn't going to disappoint in this regard thanks to the introduction of the latest and greatest in its celebrated 'Cookie Exchange Milk Stout' series, which offers a new flavor of cookie in a milk stout each year.

For the 2024 holiday season, Great Lakes Brewing Company has unfurled a peanut butter milk stout. This brew utilizes Willamette hops and malts of the Caramel 60, 2-Row Base, Wheap, De-bittered Black and Carapils varieties. Elsewhere, flavoring is enhanced with the infusion of lactose, vanilla extract as well as artificial chocolate and peanut butter flavoring elements.

Coming in only 15 IBU and a solid 5.5 percent ABV (alcohol by volume), this peanut butter milk stout is ideal for wintertime sipping by the fireplace.
