Candy Bar-Inspired Stouts

The Vault City Nitro Mini M*rs Responds to Interest in Darker Beers

The Vault City Nitro Mini M*rs nitro stout has been announced by the Edinburgh brewery as an upcoming libation that pays homage to an iconic chocolate bar as well as the brand's existing offerings. The beer is reported to be the brewery's first-ever nitro pastry stout that boasts a smooth, velvety mouthfeel that has a lower ABV than its other offerings. The beer comes in response to increasing demand for darker beers and could help to quell concerns amongst drinkers who have been lamenting recent shortages of Guinness in many markets.

Co-Founder Steven Smith-Hay spoke on the Vault City Nitro Mini M*rs nitro stout saying, "We believe the product we’re launching is a sparkling new gem in the stout category, with a smooth, sweet, and velvety finish appealing to a wide range of consumers, from sector incomers to incumbents. As St Patrick’s Day approaches, we’re encouraging beer-drinkers to look beyond the black stuff and sample something new – they might even like it better!”
