The Carlsberg Fibre Bottle is Arriving in Western Europe This Summer

The Carlsberg Fibre Bottle is a new packaging design created in collaboration with Avantium to help the brand shift towards a more sustainable alternative to its glass bottle packaging. The bottle is made with a wood fiber outer shell along with a polyethylene furanoate (PEF) liner that's 100% recycling-friendly. The packaging is reported to protect the fizziness of the product and its flavor for a longer overall shelf life.
VP Group Development at Carlsberg Stephane Munch spoke on the Carlsberg Fibre Bottle saying, "We are delighted to be bringing our new Fibre Bottle into the hands of consumers, allowing them to experience it for themselves. However, this pilot will serve a greater purpose in testing the production, performance, and recycling of this product at scale.”
