The Bourgie table lamp design by Ferruccio Laviani is one of the most iconic and best-selling lighting design from Kartell. In order to pay tribute to this striking lamp design on its 10th anniversary, Kartell challenged some of the world's best international designers to come up with their own take on the design.
Earlier this year, the unique lamps were put on display at Kartell's flagship store, marking the first of a series of international exhibitions to show off the reimagined Bourgie lamps. Philippe Starck, Mario Bellini and Patricia Urquiola were among some of the designers who took part in this project, reinventing the iconic lamp as chandeliers, coat racks and in wire frame form.
