An event like Searcy’s National Champagne Week calls for a celebration of epic proportions, and what better way to kick off the festivities than with a big champagne bottle?
This grandiose, 'Mulchizedek' 30 liter champagne bottle weighs in at about 30 pounds, and towers at around four feet tall. The bottle contains about the equivalent of 40 champagne bottles. Fittingly, this big champagne bottle is being served at the Searcys St Pancras Grand, which also happens to be the longest champagne bar in Europe. The bottle is being presented alongside a champagne flute that's just as large and impressive, although actually taking a sip from it would be problematic. During National Champagne Week, Searcy's will be serving 15 different types of champagne by the glass and 140 by the bottle at St Pancras International in London.
