The 'Baloon' bean bag by designer Florence Jaffrain is an enlarged balloon that acts as uber-comfy seating. Jaffrain's bean bag is shaped to look just like a giant surreal balloon complete with a knot on top. Though there is no air to keep in, the knotted fabric makes the Baloon look authentic.
A washable stretchy fabric covers a foam shell within the bean bag. The soft but durable foam helps to give the Baloon a round and buoyant shape. Within the surreal seating are polystyrene balls which make the chair as comfortable as possible. This material was used in an effort to absorb your movements so that the chair doesn't make any noise as you move around.
