Artscape Wychwood Barns is a Welcoming Communal Space

Art Wychwood Barns functions as a community cultural hub and is located right in Toronto's Wychwood neighborhood. The inviting space features spaces for up to 26 artist live/work studios, 15 artist work studios and 9 organizations centered around non=profit arts and environmental causes.

In addition to this, there is also an event venue that measures out to be 7,680 square feet in Barn 2. These barns are special due to its historic heritage -- originally built between the years 1913 to 1921. It was the original streetcar repair barns for the Toronto Civic Roadway followed by the Toronto Transit Commission. In 1985, the barns were closed down before being rebuilt and repurposed as the Artscape.
