The conceptual 'Aerochk' airport security escalator has been designed as a futuristic solution to the common issue of congestion in airport terminals. Created by Charles Bombardier and Ashish Thulkar of Imaginactive, the escalator works by integrating airport security checkpoints into the mobility system to scan travelers as they head to their departure gate. The escalator includes a luggage conveyor and sensors that will automatically scan everything to eliminate the need to take off shoes or wait in line for manual checks.
The conceptual 'Aerochk' airport security escalator comes as a futuristic solution to streamlining security capabilities that also helps to deal with the influx of consumers partaking in air travel. The system would alleviate the stress placed on airport staff during peak travel times and help to eliminate inefficiencies that are presently observed in terminals.
