Accessible Airport Aids

PriestmanGoode Boasts a "One-Person Autonomous Airport Vehicle"

In another project that seeks to make transportation more accessible for those with mobility challenges, UK studio PriestmanGoode worked on an autonomous airport vehicle that can accommodate one person at a time. Named the 'Geo' concept, the design was developed in collaboration with mobility company Centaur Robotics and software company Naurt.

The autonomous airport vehicle is envisioned to give people with limited mobility freedom on airport grounds but also to make their travel experience better. PriestmanGoode notes "that typically happens at an airport is that a wheelchair user is asked to arrive one hour before other passengers," for example.

The Geo project is part of "a Dubai incubator focused on the future of air travel" called Aviation X Lab.
