Nowadays almost every inch of available space is being swallowed up by advertising, whether it’s a movie poster on the side of a building, a taxi decked out to promote some new beer or a sidewalk mural literally leading you to the latest sneaker being sold. It is only natural then that with almost no available space left on terra firma, companies have set their eyes to the sky. No I’m not talking about smoke signals in the shape of corporate logos (though that would be cool), I’m talking about aircraft graffiti.
Though corporate in nature, aircraft graffiti adds colour and character to the sky with cleverly designed murals that promote everything form Disney to the Olympics. Aircraft graffiti may just be the next big medium for campaigns.
