The team at OOF! Architects are the minds behind the compact Acure House. The residence has been designed for a modern family, and the original cottage was resting on a lot with various constraints. However, the neighborhood is rich in character. The design team wanted to build on top of the entire site, which means that it would not have any outdoor yard area or traditional garden.
As a response to this lack, the team integrated what they have described to be 'virtual gardening' at the core of the home. This is an interior vertical garden space that is finished with aquatic components, sunny outlooks, hanging plants, and carpeted stairs in a lawn green tonal finish.
