David Habben's Abstract Illustrations are Created Within Shapes

In a clever twist to traditional artistic interpretation, the abstract illustrations from 'David Habben' challenge the artist to push his imagination to the next level by using self-created boundaries. The intricately unreal creations meld together a monstrous amount of detail that ranges from ghoulish creatures to paralyzing humans.

Habben starts with an abstract shape and then proceeds to use that shape to inspire the illustrations within it. This results in wildly imaginative abstract illustrations that can literally be seen multiple times without being able to notice all of the detailed drawings within them. It's concepts like these that twist the rules of abstract art because the boundaries set upon Habben are usually a taboo choice within the genre.
