Westjet's Above and Beyond Series Highlights Inspiring Individuals

In its 'Above and Beyond' web series, WestJet shares the stories of incredibly inspiring people who have done something outstanding, no matter how big or small this act may seem.

In this particular video, WestJet shares the story of Josh, a teen who was bullied in highschool. Rather than responding to his peers with anger, Josh was able to turn his miserable situation around by holding the doors of his school open for other classmates. As kids tend to do, they thought it was weird and he was quickly given the nickname of "doorman." However, the simple action helped him to get to know others on a personal basis when he greeted them each morning. Over time, this radically changing his social life, the school's dynamic and eventually, Josh began to take on public speaking engagements.
