These October 2020 design trends range from wellness-focused home goods to nature-themed wooden stools.
HBF and Jonathan Yoshida Rowell's new collection of wooden stools is a standout, featuring intricate craftsmanship and an nature-inspired design. "The seating capsule is said to draw inspiration from nature and its name—Jueki—is indicative of that." It is also named "for the thick sap that emerges from a tree" and boast a solid ash wood construction with exposed wood grain detailing.
Another notable example is the OUI home goods collection from Canadian retailer Indigo Books & Music. The collection of home decor, tabletop accessories and wellness products promotes a healthy lifestyle and fuses form with function. While designed with practicality in mind, OUI's pieces also pay homage to forms found within nature and contemporary art.
