The list of June 2022 watches trends shows that the watch industry continues to boast simultaneous pushes toward minimalism and maximalism. Retailers focus on either functional digital watches, high-luxury automatic watches, and unintrusive minimalist watches in order to capture the widest consumer base.
In terms of functional digital watches, the Pixel Watch from Google is a new flagship wearable that combines smart functionalities with health-focused wearables. Google posed this watch as a competitor to the Apple Watch and Galaxy Watch, meaning it will feature countless convenient features. As a result of the watch being developed by Google, it will feature full integration with the G-Suite of applications, such as Photos and Maps. On top of this, the watch contains full Fitbit integration for health-tracking needs.
The 'Clean Watch,' on the other hand, takes an extreme approach toward minimalism. The dial on the Clean Watch contains only the necessary information. It has the 3, 6, 9, and 12-hour markings as well as three small hands that represent seconds, minutes, and hours. The hands are on the outside of the dial near the bezel as to not intrude on the minimalism of the watch. The Clean Watch is available in a range of flat colors such as yellow, black, and green.
