The eco car, whether it be hybrid, fully electric, or another alternative, has captured the imagination of consumers who are passionate about the prosperity of the environment. There are so many different types of environmentally friendly cars on the market these days, it's hard to put them all in a box.
What I particularly like about the eco car is the design ingenuity that goes into conceiving and creating one. These cars have the power to change the status quo if they are adopted on a mass scale.
Implications - Environmental stewardship has become entrenched as part of the values of a large cross-section of consumers. These consumers value reducing their eco footprint through clever design and sharing. Companies ought to take this mindset into account and create products for this target demographic.
