Our Spanish speaking friends have given the rest of us Americans a great holiday to kick off the summer season. Cinco de Mayo, May 5, commemorating the victory of Mexico over France’s occupation, launches parties everywhere, but the innovations today range from the Tequila Express, Stiletto sprinting and Mexican supercars. Viva la Mexico. Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Implications - Though unabashed racism has long since become an unacceptable part of society, one could argue that foreign cultures have just recently been not accepted, but embraced in North American society. Smart companies have recognized this shift in the population and its culture, and are thus adapting ethnic influences to their campaigns and products.
