CEO of Ford Motor Co. Mark Fields' auto keynote speech explores the intersection of auto, technology and mobility to improve the consumer driving experience. Ford is shifting its focus to help drivers all over the world get around faster, easier and with more flexibility.
Fields begins his keynote by addressing several of the rising movements in the auto industry -- the first being the growing consumer demand for more driver mobility. With a rising middle class, more people are aspiring to own vehicles. This, in turn, will create more pollution and gridlock. To help target these issues, Ford is releasing Sync 3 that offers drivers the ability to control their smartphone and enable sensory technology. New services like the Car Swap showcases Ford's desire to target the Millennial consumer's diverse needs.
