What's your favorite accomplishment?
Walking in L'Oreal Fashion week really helped me to face a lot of fears! I'm also really proud to be nearly done my undergraduate degree in communications, and to be doing this internship :)
How do you define cool?
I'm learning that cool in something you cannot define, because once something becomes cool its no longer cool in a way. My boss once told me he wore a t-shirt that said "What you think is cool I thought was cool 5 years ago" and that pretty much sums it up.
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
I have a few go-to blogs that I check out on an almost-obsessive basis and I love to people watch-- so I'm sorry if you catch me staring (take it as a compliment)!
What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?
I really like the team of people I've worked with at Trend Hunter! The Trend Hunter family is so supportive and encouraging of everyone- especially interns.
What is your favorite trend?
My favourite trends are the ones that make me hungry or the ones I feel like telling anyone and everyone about.
What are your tips for writing a juicy post?
I always try to add some humor to each of my posts and to make them relatable to people.
How do you reset to be creative?
The subway ride to and from Etobicoke each day gives me some time to think about trends I'd like to write about or have written about-- especially when there are subway train delays (you have to find the silver lining in everything).
What inspires or excites you?
Coming to work everyday and hearing the clicking of keyboards helps to keep me motivated and excited about Trend Hunting. Oh, and snacking helps to keep me inspired :)
