45 Speedy Electric Rides

I don't know about you, but when I think of electric cars I envision slow and quiet four-doors that don't belong anywhere near a freeway. Compiling a Top List full of speedy electric rides has changed all of that, and I now know that excitement and exhilaration can be had behind the wheel of an electric car.

When I speak of exhilaration I am of course talking about law-breaking speeds that cost zero dollars per gallon to attain. A lot of the cars in this list are concepts, something which makes me excited for the future but depressed over not being able to drive them now. I guess I'll have to settle on taking the 525 horsepower Mercedes-Bez SLS AMG E-Cell around the track for now.
