One noteworthy example comes from Julie, an emergency contraceptive. The creators believe it is crucial for young women to have access to affordable contraceptive options -- options that are now largely inaccessible in light of the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade. The new startup recently launched a Walmart-exclusive emergency contraceptive pill that targets Gen Z and Millennial women.
Another medical example comes from Uber and DoorDash, who recently partnered with Walgreens to deliver COVID antiviral Paxlovid for free to underserved neighborhoods. "This partnership is yet another way in which Uber’s technology can help Americans recover from the pandemic and make lifesaving healthcare more accessible," Caitlin Donovan, general manager of Uber Health, said in a statement.
