Adding to the list of chic celebrity makeovers is the recently announced Beyoncé haircut. A big turn from her usual long-flowing locks, Beyoncé's new do is somewhere in between a pixie and a boy cut.

Recently pop stars Miley Cyrus and Rihanna caught attention for converting to edgy short cuts. Many people say Beyoncé's haircut must have been inspired by Miley's, but that isn't likely; Miley's hair is almost completely shaved on the sides with longer flow at the top, going for a spunky pixie. Similarly, Rihanna's short cut has significantly longer strands at the top, brushing across as side bangs. These looks are definitely more sleek, whereas Beyoncé's new do is closer to a classic boy cut.
