The brilliant minds behind Young Serbian Designers, Jugoslava Kljakic and Nataša Ilincic, won the Belgrade Design Week's Sitting Green competition with the 75-25% Chair. Seventy-five percent of the chair is wood, a natural resource being used at an alarming rate. The other 25 percent of the chair is plastic, which the human population is throwing away at an alarming rate.

Implications - These young Serbian designers are making quite the statement with their 75-25% chair. The chair is a response to the amount of waste that is created while employing excessively clever design tropes.
