Estudio Atemporal designed this luxury cocktail bar called 'Xaman Bar,' which is ironically located in the dark basement of a worn down building. The Mexico-based bar serves classic and sophisticated beverages to an exclusive client list while being inconspicuous to passersby.
The Xaman Bar is secluded and dark with little signage to draw in consumers. The interior of the bar is combined with a lounge area and is decorated with various pieces of lush foliage. The idea for the bar is to present consumers with a divine experience that will eliminate any negative associations projected from the building's exterior.
The interior's lights hang overhead and are filtered through wooden pillars. There is also a wall-sized mural that is illuminated by the lights to provide guests with a nebulous landscape.
