The creators of RuPaul's Drag Race recently launched an all-new streaming network called 'WOW Presents Plus' that pull from its library of films, TV shows, live events and documentaries, all with a focus on LGBT content.
The advertisement-free subscription streaming service is available on iOS, Apple TV, Roku and Android, with a 30-day free trial option available upon signup. Fans of RuPaul's Drag Race can expect to find all-new, original content from previous contestants on the show like Valentina, Detox and Bob the Drag Queen. 'Cool Mom with Jinkx Monsoon' stars season five winner Jinkx Monsoon and son discussing topics like Internet slang with one another.
A number of standalone subscription video-on-demand services are launching with a focus on providing exclusive content and targeting niche audiences to better compete with streaming service giants like Netflix.
