Turning wooden chairs and stools into an art form, Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet does it again with his latest collection of interior treats for Italy-based brand Alias.
The Tabu collection of wooden chairs and stools will give any space a fresh look with its nature-inspired design and minimalist lines. Using plexiglass for the backrests, the collection is unique because it does such a good job at balancing both traditional craftsmanship techniques with modern materials and digital technology. Designed in a way to highlight the stunning solid wood, the Alias collection was made using Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) technology to give it the perfected finish.
"The aim of the collection is to synthesize nature in order to naturalize industry, to recover the sense of authenticity, beauty and goodness," says Quitllet.
